This is a competition designed to allow DeMolays who are not competing in the major sports tournaments to have a little fun on the side.  It also allows visiting DeMolays, guests, and advisors to participate in Conclave sporting events.

What makes this event different from other competitions is that it is set up and executed by active DeMolays. The State Athletics, Competitions, and Ritual Director will appoint officials and referees. The tournament will follow these basic rules:
  1. International Volleyball Rules apply.
  2. Two (2) players will constitute a full team.
  3. One (1) player MUST be an in state (Virginia), active DeMolay. The other player may be either a Senior DeMolay, Advisor, out-of-state DeMolay, or Prospect. Teams do not have to be from the same chapter.
  4. A game will be played to fifteen points. A team must win by two points.
  5. The best two out of three games will win the match.
  6. Teams will volley for serve.
  7. No substitutions will be allowed.
  8. You must stay behind the out-of-bounds line to serve.
  9. You cannot cross the mid-line with your feet or arms below the net. You cannot spike the ball on the opponent’s side of the net. If so, the team loses point and serve.
  10. The games will be under the supervision and control of an official appointed by the State Director of Athletics, Competitions, and Ritual.
  11. Each team will be permitted two thirty (30) second time-outs in each game, but only when the ball is not in play.  Players may not leave the court during a time-out.
  12. Only the official may call injury time-outs.
  13. Players are not required to be proficient to participate.
  14. No one may compete again if eliminated.
